The INTERIM SUMMIT management committee consists of Erdwig Holste (Managing Director), Manuel Bongers (Managing Director) and Dr Harald Wachenfeld (Chairman of the Advisory Board). Harald Wachenfeld and Erdwig Holste had been thinking about how to get even more out of their super successful team for a while. In 2026, it’s finally happening: the INTERIM SUMMIT is being launched and going live.

A group of companies with strong individual brands on an equal footing. A joint venture between two established interim providers. Summit stands for a meeting at the top, but also for a gathering. For IMS and SHERPAS, the term “INTERIM SUMMIT” was the perfect fit.

IXPA Global Executive Solutions is a professional network of interim management providers that places experienced interim managers worldwide. The focus is on senior interim management.

IXPA currently consists of 18 partners with offices in 28 countries on 5 continents. Upon request, interim managers based in the country of assignment can be placed worldwide at short notice. International reach meets local expertise.

IMS is a founding member of IXPA. Harald Wachenfeld was chairman and CEO of this internationally unique group for many years. IMS has been able to support clients on numerous occasions with international enquiries and projects with interim managers from IXPA partners (and vice versa). This has enabled even complex management projects to be filled at short notice and led to success.
